oh ooh oh
I wanted to ask if you could put the PKP trucks on the freeboard to see how much of an improvement they are over the stock RKP
I bet you have something in store for us

I reckon they would reduce the rocker but… 12mm axle
Make custom 8mm wheel axles on 5 Axis CNC (or cut and weld steel) with camber…
or I guess you could machine the axles normally then get them bent properly and rehardened.
Just need a way to lock them well enough, maybe swap the grub screw for a socket head.
Well with a 12mm thread and lots of loctite it could hold from rotation just fine I bet.
oh we could easily make 8mm Axles if there was interest, I reckon the clearance wouldnt be amazing on smaller wheels. Im quite hyped about trying the new trucks from Freebord, if they ever release them!
Hey chaps!
We have a limited number of sets of Apex Air available on the website
First come first served basis! Only Medium and Stiff in stock. More will be added in the very near future (just waiting on more bushings arriving)
Also we are now stocking MBS Rockstar 2 Bearing spacers
Hi Apex,
Thanks for providing such quality items.
I’m looking to order another esc enclosure from y’all. Is there currently an eta for the next batch?
Thanks!
J.Green
ETA 1 week best case, 2 weeks outside.
Yes! we wanted to keep as much of the blacked out look as possible as our boards/parts are all black and carbon fibre so we pushed the logo to the edges.
I just came here to say we are now stocking 6374 190kv battle hardened motors and Flipsky VX1’s
Also ESC cases are 1 or 2 weeks away if anyone is waiting on them and trucks should be back in stock in about 1 or 2 weeks also (just waiting on bushings from @RipTideSports on that one! (our fault, ordered them late))
Can you post a pic if you have one with the stormcore mounted inside with all wire attached. I just wanted a visual how all wire went in and looked hooked up.
Can you post pics of the internals of the exact vx1 you’re selling? The newer designs are known to have problems with cutouts or wonky throttle. These issues are why Kaly NYC and Lacroix moved away from the vx1 entirely.
Yeah, those look great.
As far as I know, there was an issue with 1 batch of remotes and that’s what caused the fallout with lacroix. I’m assured its been long since fixed. All our stuff is fully warrantied, any issues we have got you covered.
So all the phase wires run underneath the enclosure out back? And does the XT90 actual fit through or does it have to be soldered in after running the battery wires in? Thanks for the pics and sorry for all the questions I was just trying to understand how it all comes together.
No that’s quite alright mate!
Yes all the wiring runs through the baseplate, that’s one of the things that’s so good about this enclosure - water would have to run into the baseplate and then up through the wire gland to get in. The XT90 does not fit through the hole, I prefer to solder the battery end after mounting everything in the ESC enclosure - this pic shows the back
Perfect, thanks for helping understand it!
Y’all made that fit perfect, thanks for the pics.
Will you be offering more Predator Decks? ETA? Thanks!
