Anyone fitted 110mm thane wheels to Trampa mini infinity trucks?

I got a generic banggood pulley set and it was easier for me to file down the pulley by mounting the wheel + pulley to another axle then stick on a long belt and motor and used it like a lathe with cruise control from a vx1

that’s why you get 2 sets, one to ride and one to stare at

it’s the torqueboard pulleys i got from them alongside with the wheels, they have a retainer ring and no bearings, i did file but almost nothing because thanks to the spacers i’m just at the limite

nice, what dampa / barrels do you use ?

WOOOOW that’s sick, it could probably be high enough to use the DS bottom enclosure ! i want them !

Full barrel setup inner front outer rear . They have softened up with use and now feel great . I never bothered with my springs and dampas. There just in a box although I prefer the springs looks .

So if I bought the torque pulley in the pic are you saying I would still need to file the truck hanger ? Or could I get away with filing the pulley to save the truck getting marked ?
If I decided to go with abec pulleys and wheels instead would you still have this clearance issue ?

no i did’t found an other way around, the contact part is the core of the pulley, and there’s less than half a millimetre between the perimeter and the retaining screws so impossible to file the pulley…

i also was reluctant to file the truck but didn’ manage otherway

at first i did put a bigger spacer and had the motor mounts more to the sides, but the bolt on the axle was too lose and i did lost one

i don’t know about an other pulley that could work, but as the problem is with the kegel core and trampa uses abec cores i guess the abec is larger

An other option would be to use the pulley without the retainer and then you could use it as a press one and file a besel no mater of the screw holes

Ahh ok well I guess I’ll have to look at carefully and neatly filing the truck hanger assuming it will work with my motor mounts I have .

Sorry being a bit of a dumb ass here . Do you mean buy a straight pulley and bolt kit rather than the ones with the built in lugs and then poss file the pulley that way ?
Ref abec pulleys ,I need to see if there is. Bigger clearance if so the abec 107’s would be ok I guess although I prefer the 110 torque wheels

Hey dude did you have to file your hanger ends to allow the abec pulley to clear or was it ok . Any spec on the parts you used would be greatly appreciated :call_me_hand:

No filing needed,…40T pulley was from Kaly at the time.

no, i mean using the pulley from TB and file it, but use it without the retaining screws, maybe epoxy them to the hub

Does he still sell them ?

I dont think so, all his boards are Gear drive now
