as I was making sure I had my “speed monkey” in my pocket, I wondered if anyone else has any silly lucky charms they always take riding with them?
Someone made this the year I started esk8ing. I had him in my pocket by accident until I had my first real fall, I’m not that superstitious but he’s been in my pocket ever single time I’ve been out since (~6 years)
fits perfectly in my spare belt
Must admit he’s not been 100% effective - I have fallen with him, but none put me on my ass like the time I left him at home

I bring @DerelictRobot with me… He’s pretty silly and he can tow me home after I crash.
