Any Recourse for Enertion board ordered but never received?

I apparently ordered a board at a bad time, in May of 2019 and have recently found out that the company is dying or dead already. Anyone have any ideas on the best recourse to try to get some money back? or the board as unlikely as that probably is.

I hate to say this, but I don’t think you’ll get either as the company is out of business and the well is dry. Sorry, man.

I hope this doesn’t put you off esk8 completely, and we can help you get something from a reputable vendor or help you build your own.

Maybe go to your bank and make a claim or something, sometimes even if the company doesn’t pay you back the bank can do it

If you ordered through a credit card, call them

So yes the best solution is to call your bank, explain the company is bankrupt and has gone undercover, and that even their website does not exists no more.

If the bank say’s stuff you then you need to go to court, no easy way around it unfortunately. Enertion owes so much money to people, so court is the only thing that works in the end. I am very sorry and as Bill said, if you ever get your money back then plz come here, read a bit, and make a board designed and made by you :v:

I KNEW IT! They’ll be back and have a grand and glorious esk8 empire at their backs. 20s/300A controllers, quad controllers. pneumatics with all sizes between 3" and 12", modular enclosure sets to meet the needs of every deck imaginable!

Down she is. I just leave that here.

That’s what I thought, I already talked to my bank and they said that it was unfortunately too far back for them to do anything. I may try again but I’m not optimistic on that route, might just need to chalk it up as a loss.

Luckily I still have my Backfire G2S to tide me over, though I do need to look into getting or making a new battery for it. I had planned to possibly make a new one for it once I got the new board, specifically one that is under the specifications for taking it on a plane, maybe even 2 (since you can have 2 batteries up to 180wh batteries, at least on JetBlue) that I can either swap or link up. Been looking into possibly using LiFePo4 batteries, even though it’ll have to be a bit bigger, so that I don’t need to replace it as often. However, I’ve recently started seeing graphene batteries dropping onto the market so I’m hoping they start to come out in cell form soon.

Sorry to hear that loss  .
I recently talked to a guy who is in the same situation, bought $600 worth of motors and unity, and Paypal refused to refund him because it was more than 6 months back.

Sorry to hear that  I bought a Unity on 24 July 2019 using PayPal, opened a case on 7 January 2020, and it was decided in my favor 10 days later. Glad I used PayPal and that I filled a dispute before the 6 months period.

I walk past that accountant 5 times a week lol. Small world
