Any leads on 50kv motor?

Looking for some leads on 50kv (40-70) Sensored motors, alien power systems has some but not always impressed with their quality, had to fix cold soldier welds and add silicone. Doesn’t matter size 6374-10850+ for an RC project. Checked all the usual places but couldn’t find any.

hub motors are about 50kv, and they’re just outrunners with urethane on them. Cheap too. The axles are squared.

Thanks @Anubis, would have to take the urethane off for thermals, but an option, and would have to make shaft adapter

most board nowadays have replaceable urethane, but I would say exway or backfire has the easiest way to remove them (wowgo is also using same method, but their thane is much tigher than others for some reason)

The project is a track fpv snowblower, so high Constant draw (2000w), slow speeds and it has a 20:1 gear drivetrain. Using a hub motor isn’t necessarily my first choice, don’t need the form factor and need a big shaft/key 10mm+. Even on endlesssphere I didn’t find much.

I have 4 x 80kv 6384 aps motors if they would be an option for you?

If you really need 2000 W continuous a 80 Kv won’t work unless you go bigger, to get that power you need it to spin faster and then gear it down

You are right, the motor would stall on start up if I was asking the motor for that load. I’m expecting 2000w when pushing snow. Same as if going up a steep hill on a e-mtb, you get a running start, (haven’t came across a hill I couldn’t climb from stand still on my board)(as long as the ground is firm)

@BigBen I may be interested, I’ll message you once I get the details worked out. 80kv May be too high of rpm. Have some calculations to do.
