Then I wish for motorcycle looking e bikes with big power and not needing to fork 10 grand for that package. Big power, good proven parts, subtle tweaks.

i’m determined to have an ebike built for my wife by next summer. Already have the bike. Going with a classic 20" chroms BMX frame from the 80’s, adding banana seat and ape hangers, running hubs on front and back if possible.
completely loading up that triangle in the frame with cells.

I have what you need for the triangle shape and already got suggestions for the bike parts should you need them (I doubt that second part).

That $550 vesc 6 clone is making me consider building an emoto… Only have the money to power one motor at that price

One motor is enough, just choose it well! 
I’ve got a chopped beach cruiser with ape hangers I’d love to put a motor on. Even a slow mellow setup would be dope.

I’ve actually been slowly researching the building of my own electric motorcycle.
I have a buddy who is saving me a frame from an old pan head…gonna make a dirty bobber front end with a big ass hub motor onniy

light carbon frames are pretty useless for ebikes.
They’re for light weight roadbikes who’d pay a premium for ever gram shed.
Ebikes weigh 50 - 150+ lbs so no ones going to care that your regular steel frame weighs a few lbs more

I’d love to build an ebike but cant justify spending the money on something I know I wont ride much.
Maybe I’ll make one for my girl she got scared of esk8ing when I took her to orlando to meet @longhairedboy lol
Well it could also be that one time she came in a little too hot for that mono drive to stop her before she tboned a car lol
