I came across a thread that had some of Head Turner Customs’ coilover shock suspension trucks (see Trophy Truck Longboard Suspension System - YouTube and the similar red wheel counterpart)

I wanted to mimic this design on an ESK8, initially selecting 6" AT tires/wheels and a caliber profile rear split truck/axle for motor mounts. However, I decided on keeping it simple stupid for my initial design.

The wheels can be mounted facing outwards (as shown) or facing inwards. Hardware is standard 5/16. Multiple holes in the idler plates were added so that the wheel spacing can be adjusted.

Once I gather feedback and get a feel for this design using my existing urethane/street setup, I’ll work at creating a larger configuration with AT wheels/tires and coilover shocks.

wait until some crazy crackhead use the other holes to mount wheel inwards at the same time.

Testing it myself (with a longer center-center distance) to get a feel for what it’s like.

just letting you know, having just 2 plates and some bolts and washers will wear the axles, bend them, and will cause uneven wear on the wheels

i’ve bent at least 3 hangers in the span of a year while running tandem axles

if the title or this disc was accurate to what is being shown I would be.

“multiple wheels per axle” would be a good general thread this could be.
