Aluminium Drop down brackets?

OK let me see what I can do.
What is a good price for these?

I just bought some aluminium foot lockers , nice aluminium plates, bent and drilled
was 70 euros for a set of two
I suppose, staying in the 100$ range would help selling those

Will have something towards the weekend.
Also checking an option for stainless steel

What is the preference for hole spacing? Old/new?

:+1::+1::+1: Iโ€™ll see what I can do.
@DavidF is getting the first pair.

The sad thing is I have nothing to test it with, literally no longboard parts atm
Iโ€™ll rig something to show you (and me) the strength of these.

I would expect no less. But these look great and you seem to have a bit of interest already. A small run of these would be cool!

So for now it bends

Keep in mind this is overkill in terms of loads, but I wouldnโ€™t want my product to do this anyway.

I will try stainless steel next before changing the design completely.
Iโ€™ll keep you posted

Does it? I canโ€™t see it bending on the pics
Stainless steel would be ok, but quite heavy

I see now
Stainless steel would be ok, but quite heavy
Also, I think the front plate (where the base plate is attached) could be a bit shorter
This would decrease leverage

How much weight did you put on it?

Iโ€™m 90kg, so all of itโ€ฆ
The design loads were 60kg as in 120/2

Iโ€™m 68kg, so I think those would be ok for me
But I get that stronger is better

Yeah but if you accidentally hit a pothole or whatever I bet the force would be bigger then a bouncy 90 kg load
