Yep, and its pretty easy to modify what i want the rear to be at as thats a traditional adjustable baseplate too, so i can dial in the feel i want.
Its officially working. Just need to re-print the custom roller bearing cages, but other than that seems to be done.
Hot
Welp. After a bit of short track testing, the prototype works and holds up perfectly, however my onsra 115’s are shredded after less than a hundred laps, and i managed to blow up a bearing… thats a melted metal cage ![]()
Welcome to the club, the only bearings that fixed this for me are the nsk ones from skyart. I tried a ton of other brands too
Get Zealous they are ![]()
Zealous did this to me too
+1 for Zealous. Do they offer anything other than 608s? That’s all I have found…
Im on a 10mm axle, cant run zealous unfortunately. I use them everywhere i can haha.
Are those offered in 6900? Im on a 10mm axle unfortunately.
Ive ran fast eddy 10x22x7(not 6mm!) For quite some time.
Im not easy on them and have never had one explode. I average bout 800mi b4 they get a lil crunchy.
Obviously stacking the axel is imperative, less obvious is some wheels b-b spacing is not perfect and require an extra spacer to fully stack
Ordered 3 sets, we’ll see if i can blow any of them up. Ive gotten some custom wheel spacers made so theyre definitely not being loaded wrong.
Update as of 2/10/24 - I have managed to blow up everything else, including bending axles, fucking up the gear drive housings, and frying a set of Onsra 115’s - first set of fasteddy bearings i bought are still in there. These things are fucking legit.
