Revamped this thing to have a Rabbit / Lip idk if that’s what its called at least that’s what they call it in wood working
going to print Later today
last iteration I was having serious thermal contraction happening causing the print to lift even with a Brim..
hoping with this iteration it prints much better being there is a bit more to grab on the bottom.
but basically you fill this thing with sand + put glue in that lip tract and Seal er up
but only after you put ur threaded inserts in for your Rubber FEET
@glyphiks
Um… I talk a little funny sorry
Basically just putting glue in the recessed track
So when the bottom panel conjoins with the body it has a seal so that sand doesn’t escape.
Idk if it’ll work it but it’s a fair attempt at trying to create a seal anyway

Lol i meant - what is the box of sand for?
These are the first prototypes that I fucked up on
But these are what they are for
Just weighted wheel stops for leaning your board against a wall

Pretty sweeeeettt
My v5 is on the new revamped model
And I haven’t put sand in it to utilize the weighted feature it could have yet as I’m
Printing the bottom panel… which should help raise the thing a couple extra mm.
My v5 taillight barely clears the hardwood floor.

When I made a similar design, I wished that I ‘d made a piece to link the two chocks and keep them at the perfect width
