Hi guys I’m looking for a new screen for my r2 remote. Evolve won’t sell me a new screen and want me to send my remote in and pay for repair which doesn’t sit well with me. Just wondering if anyone had managed to find a source from China for the displays?
I’d ask for a quote on a screen replacement before you go any further of they can’t quote you on that then take it to china
They won’t sell me one which I think sucks. I’m perfectly capable of plugging a new screen in. I live remote so by the time I’ve posted my remote and payed for shipping plus the cost of return shipping it doesn’t make it worth doing. Plus the month or so I’ll be without a remote.
Evolve is ridiculous when it comes to repairs or replacement parts… so you have to pay double the shipping and a repair fee + the screen instead of doing it yourself. They should send you the damn part and tell you that once you repair it yourself they void your warranty. So you have to be out of a board for weeks for a simple fix. Will they sell tou a new unit?

Surprised they wouldn’t sale you one. They sold me one awhile back ago when the R2 remote came out. Mine did the white screen of death, after it did it a second time I went back to using my R1 remote. But since then I moved on to DIY.
