Building a basic bread and butter, rear drive, dual 6355, run by 10s, on small street wheels, (90mm). I ask nothing more than that it work more or less well with the stock setup tool. Can I expect this? This will be smooth dry streets and rarely more than 6 miles (3 each way). Most often it will be less than 2miles (1 mile each way).
Anyone who has one of these able to speak from experience about my ask of it?
-Peter
And it will be geared for torque, not speed, with 14/40 on 90mm wheels.
I have several. To answer your question, generally yes.
@BuildKitBoards Jared man, what’s up with your tech support? I emailed them a wk ago with problems that were clearly related to my Xenith and got one response back in a week denying that it had anything to do with the controller.
In my experience, tech support is supposed to assist w troubleshooting etc… not immediately deny responsibility for the problem at hand. Since the less-than-stellar response, I’ve offered to to send video or do a video call w them to demonstrate the issue and it’s been 72 business hours and radio silence.

Wednesday to Sunday we were all hands on deck for the Electrify Expo, ended up being 10X more work than anticipated. I gave everyone the day off Monday and Tuesday as they all put in 60-80 hours last week. Well be back in the full swing of things tomorrow, and I will also start replying to emails tonight as well to try and get people answers.

Hey hey,
i am planning to build another board and have a Xenith form one of the first batches still unopened laying around.
I am still configuring my battery and wanted to build a 14S2P one which should be doable considering they were tested at 58V right?
But all I can find is that the Xenith can only handle up to 12S Batteries.
Can anyone provide any insights here?
Thanks so much in advance!
Probably not a good idea.

It is pretty standard practice in esk8 to leave some voltage headroom to allow for spikes during everyday use.
There’s no hard and fast rule about how much headroom is enough AFAIK, but you definitely should have some
That said, there are quite a few people who successfully ran unity/zenith at 13s, although I can’t think of anybody who was keen enough to try 14s.
It’s probably wisest to keep it at 12s or lower if you enjoy living
