wow , not impress, still struggling with acedeck company they don’t understand english , 19 email later and 5 pictures and 2 video they don’t know what i need , , the front upper arms also loose and they tell me to tight the bolt both side and it’s what i have done but all four link arms are still loose.
video proof : defect acedeck suspension arms 2
You may need a very think metal shim to eliminate the excess play. Basically, an ultra thin washer.
yes thank you , brass washer maybe the solution but the play tolerance is also with the bolt insert
they are piece of shit customer service its all can say , i do mecanic since a decade on atv and car and don’t tell me to use grease to remove play wtf!
just imagine you bough a brand new car at the dealer to fix a loose defect on your suspension and they tell you it should be good with some grease !!! same when a ball joint is loose on a car or spindle it cause the wheel to move side way and its what happen with this piece of shit design trucks,
i am a diy guys like all of you, and i tough will be nice to buy ready to ride board but i regret my decision of buying this , the remote also is very cheap feel and not showing me the mileage ,
I would not consider THAT a POS customer service response, it can…will get worst. Is the other side like that too? Can you identify the specific part/s of that complicated mechanism that is causing the fraction of millimeter difference?
Based on my limited experience, a mismatch of 0.1 - 0.2mm can cause movement like that.
Have you used a pair of calipers to measure the two pieces to see what the difference is?
even the shocks mount are mounted loose i mesured 0.30 mm
mesured with feeler gauge is 0.20mm , btw i have 35 years experience with mecanic and i can say this suspension truck need upgraded , they use o-ring for keep metal to metal contact ! so in fews month they will be destroyed ! now my only solution is the shim, and use lot of grease , the sleeve bolt was installed dry!
all of my request was done with email but tonight am gonna try to contact them by the chat app on their website
0.3mm is pretty big.
