WoW, its been a minute since i came on here but still is the best place for esk8.
My son is a U.S. Marine stationed in N.C. and he’s always riding his esk8 on base. His 10s4p battery is finally dead which is 6yrs old and must have been charged hundreds of times.
Is it possible he can use 2- 6000mah 5S lipo batteries in the meantime until he comes home and we figure out what he wants to do regarding a battery pack? If yes, can someone point me in the right direction on which batteries will work better on his board and gets decent riding.
Like said on the other thread you will need to turn up the voltage cutoff. Hobbywing is great for cheap LiPos although they might not have 5S LiPos you could have to do 6S+4S.
CNHL is also great for getting LiPos, better power to $ worse capacity to $ compared to hobbyking.
