A Better Skatepark Board. 12S1P. OG Focbox. Single Drive.

Then I made my little packet.

Still the Meepo ER pack. 10s2P 40T.
OG Focbox. With Bluetooth module and smart anti spark.
No power button on these…
And the Flipsky 190kv 6354 motor from the good old days…

And then.
ABS.
Double sided tape.
Tesa tape…
Kapton.
And a good bit of Butyl.

Then the packet gets taped to the deck.
I like this because it makes separating the electronics from the deck latiif needed.

This thing is definitely not easily serviceable.
All the freaking tape everywhere.
But it’s how I roll and I’m sticking to it😉.

The idea is that ain’t nothing gonna move…
We shall see…

Trim the excess tape and its good to go.

The last touch was epoxying the copers to the trucks.

Got done just before 1 am.
Probably why I’m tired right meow…

This morning I was so stoked on how this thing turned out.

I love the look.
And I love the way it feels when I hop on it.

Anything’s a minivan if you try hard enough

The polo is the little car above, I just picked something off the top selling minivan list as a comparison

Soooo.
Not that long ago I had 2 skatepark boards…

Now I have none…

I have been going to the skatepark and pump track on the Omakase…

The Old Meepo ER battery on the Nicky Guerrero finally died…
I probably had it low and the Flipsky antispark drove it way down…

So in the barrel it went.

Then stupid me took apart the Hosoi to get a better enclosure going…

Many weeks, maybe a couple months passed.
And I am finally getting around to making an enclosure on the Nicky.

So hopefully soon I will have one working park board…

The second one needs a battery and an enclosure…so we could be looking at years…

As a friendly reminder I want an enclosure that would hold up to the board having rails. And me actually using those rails for a rock and roll and possibly a board slide.

The concept I used on the Hosoi was totally functional for this.
And what I am working on now is a prettier version of what I had before.

And we start with 2 blocks of wood!!!

These are going to cradle my little 12S1P pack.
And the rails will sit on them.

I decided to just use a 3m adhesive to hold the wood to the deck…

So paint had to come off…

The wood blocks provide the structure and a bent sheet of ABS provides the cover.

I’m using inserts to hold the abs down.

I am using a wedge to try to protect the trucks and I just glued that down.

Today I gave the enclosure the obligatory truck bed liner treatment.

I love that stuff.

I let it dry in the sun, and was geeking this afternoon to slap it together.

After the paint job, assembly was basically taping the packet to the deck. Plugging the Motor Cable. And bolting down the lid.

Butyl tape was once again a huge help.
And served as as gasket between the abs and deck.

I have been using the Omakase to cruise around the park and the Pump track.

This set up is quite different!!!
