9Inch Primo Striker mud guards. Has anyone got any?

Hi, Im looking whenever someone has made mud guards for 9 inch wheels?

Im having 9inch Primo Strikers and so far Ive seen only designs for evolve wheels/trucks and maybe some 8 inch wheels ones.

I know that with the right skills it is possible to design some or maybe even modify existing ones…

But the second part of problem is that im currently still having round axle skate trucks, so I would need to modify the adapter/mount to the axle as well.

So yes, just curious if there are any designs or maybe clever ideas how to make some.

@High-roller had some cool design but he is using 8 inch wheels I think:

Trampa sell some for 9“.

With the round axle you will still need to find a solution.

I made some for my 8" wheels from buckets. Going to make some for my 9" to soon. Mount them on my gear drive back and on 3d printed or aluminium holder in the front.

Yeh metal or plastic bucket might be the way to go

@Andy87 thanks for the find, didnt know trampa offers them as parts as well

@Okami762 I’ve dm’d you with the details that I can remember off the top of my head (23:50 here, not thinking clearly).
For the rest of you, yes mine are 8", you can find the files on thingiverse or the old forum, if it’s still around. I have tinkered with some better designs since the above photo was taken but haven’t had time to test anything (same reason I haven’t been active here in a while, sadly).
More details will added on request and time allowing.

Mh well I still havent got any further.

I guess I will go with big pipe design soon, if im desperate enough and cant come up with 3d printed or laser cut design in the future…

Looking nice!

Did u laser cut these holder plates for them?

Also did u pick already existing design for truck clamp or u made your own?

Though, I still use relatively old skate trucks on my primary board, so I would make my own clamps anyway, just curious how u did yours.

I have a great setup for mud guards for my 8” mud pluggers but I cadded up a model, 3D printed but those were too brittle, so I made a mold from the print and then did resin casting for a more durable solution to fit a custom mount I designed. But it’ll fit 7-9” tires

I have the Trampa 9 inch. Work a fucking dream. I went out in some serious mud with jeans on and there was barely any mud on them. Would have more mud going out on a pushbike on the road!

Haven’t got a photo of the mud I went through but safe to say the owner of the mud path might not be too happy!

Thanks.

The back buckets is hold by the screws in the gearbox. The front is hold by an aluminium bracket and plate. I got them from a member here att the forum nad i think they are CNC:ed.

On by secound board i have 3D printed holders which aslo works fine.

My recomendation if you going to 3D print is that you should use stiff material for the bracket and the fender need to be flexibel. Otherwhise the fender Will quickly go to pieces. I have tried some and buckets hold the longest for me.

I have done over 10000 km on this board and some different fenders since i comute to work every day about 5+5 km.

It’s a bit dirty right now :stuck_out_tongue:

@Scoo Thanks for the extensive picture gallery.

U convinced me the bucket ‘method’ might be the most suitable one then!

The look is also quite good and doesnt look that cheap or ghetto.
