Many seem to like the mud pluggers the most. Good point about the the darker and shinier the tire looks the harder and longer lasting. I Kinda gathered that too. Thx for confirming.
I just don’t like the square look of mud pluggers. I was hoping when filled w/ air they will look rounded but don’t think that’s really true. Patch of mud pluggers largely depends on hubs used and psi amount filled?
What do y’all think is the best 8" tire that has the wider than standard patch? Looking for 8" x 2.5" (200 x 65). Only way to achieve wider patch w/ 8" tires is deep dish hubs like mbs rockstar pro 2 XL alums?

I suspect Fivestars may not be wide enough to accommodate them. They are about 3" wide. I have them on Pro II XLs which at 60mm wide, are 8mm wider than Fivestars. Unfortunately I couldn’t seem to find them on Amazon US but I did find them on AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001205265879.html. I’ve actually been thinking of putting these on the new Newbee REV1 rims (76mm wide) to stretch them even more.

They are more squarish than many other tires but it also depends a lot on how wide the rim is. Seriously, I think you should get past the “look.” Function over form. Once the wheel is turning you are not even seeing the profile of the tire.
