I have them right here but I’d prefer to keep them in one piece
How long is the stator?
fack knows
Where did you get these? I thought the ali page was for a quantity of 100 lol
So what is the verdict on these? Any good? Also are they obtainable?
I dont use mine because I am holding them for somebody else.
@Linny Should know all about them
Not obtainable unless you contact Ali supplier.
These motors are pretty powerful, dare i say close to a 6374? Nah, i’m just judging based on feel.
Okay here’s the low down, so far the ones that Arc got from the manufacturers, say maybe 1/4 of the motors came with a bad solder joint on the phase wire before it exits the stator. So if you do order from the supplier, there is a smidge of chance you might get a motor with a poorly soldered phase wire joint.
We have stressed this out to them and they will fix the solder joints in the upcoming ones.
Other than that, the support bearing on the can helps heaps and it does not get hot at all, fairly lukewarm running a 10s5p/10s2p on a gear drive so far in a few tests.
Hell yeah, I guess these replace 6355/6065?
Ali supplier quoted me $70/per + $150 shipping for 20.
I only really want a couple though, u no?
Was there a MOQ? I may be interested in going in on a pair
Also interested in a pair if someone is going to put together a GB
I think they’d be good on a board with small wheels
I’m also thinking good pair with small gear drive as this should help with clearances
So guys anyone tried those motors yet? How good/bad are they?
I’ve ridden them a good bit. Decent pull once they spin up a bit. Might do something else with them.
Does this mean they struggle from a stand still?
Dude, I’m fat. A top-fuel dragster would struggle.
They definitely don’t launch like 63XX, though. I was riding Linny’s dual 6380 last night and that moved my flesh mountain pretty well. But once underway, no lack of power for my admittedly mild needs from the 5095.
You and I both my friend. Hence my concern. ![]()
Couldn’t you accomplish something similar by adding a support bearing outside of the motor pulley. It would be motor, motor plate, pulley, bearing support. Some of these motors have the shaft length to make that happen, TB specifically
10mm shafts should help too
I think you guys will have to compared size, price and torque. Especially for the MTB group aren’t you losing some low end torque where you’d want it most?
I don’t think so, because the shaft is already supported on two ends, it’s the rotor/can that’s typically only supported on one end.
