40" Drop Deck TB40

In theory the load pushes up primarily so the hole itself doesn’t matter…but yeah that should have been italicized

All’s been taken care of! Will be sent another deck and I bought the top plates as well. Thanks Dexter @torqueboards for the excellent customer service

@Jujo I’ll take the faulty deck if dexter doesn’t want it back

I’m gonna try using titebond. Might be a good time to try CF skinning too.

@torqueboards

I didn’t get these.
Not really clear now that I think about it, if I was supposed to or not.

I actually have been trying to buy these to put in my hummie decks… So can I buy ~64 of them from you? lol or where do I find these.

Make sure you use a top plate on the flushed drop through. Not sure if that’s the truck itself or a riser.

That’s a dropped truck, then I use shredlights mounts below as cheap high quality anti-sinking pads.

Here I am testing worst case (sorry for the dirty) ground clearance.

Dropped trucks + 83mm wheels. With a BB DS enclosure, fits two 30Q’s in boxes(39mm) in the middle and an IMAXB6 (32mm) under the end.

Anyone know if that is acceptable ground clearance? really not a lot but if I go up to 110-160mm wheels the problems go away I’m sure.

@torqueboards perhaps I should pick up a pair of those top plates from you for one of these, is the price posted somewhere here?

@Fosterqc not yet, no. Email for now

I did a drop through mounting for the @Boardnamics baseplates, with @RipTideSports backing plates. Took some dremeling to avoid the hanger hitting the backing plate but now it is rock solid.

That’s one sweet looking tb40 I have to finish my daughter board before I start on mine.

@movation Two sweet looking TB40’s actually!

I’m trying to get one ready for a test but I ran Into an issue with a insert hole

knew it wasn’t a great sign when I could screw the first one in mostly by hand.

So I should just glue this one in?

You are supposed to epoxy those in. @torqueboards has some instructional videos about that.

You could use m6 inserts
