Minimum layer time is 10s
The stringing might be your retracting speed, I also know that can be caused by the bowden tube gap in the Ender 3.
Do you use fan?
i do. i think the first layers print without and after a while he goes on. Need to check when
If you try to imagine that the base is warping gradually more and more over time, then it makes sense how the wall will curve to the left as the layers get added on top.
Temporarily clogged nozzle or filament binding in the PTFE tube and then when the binding is released, a whole lot of filament gets pushed out immediately? Some people use filament oilers to make it not jam in PTFE tube and use better quality capricorn tube. This is something direct completely eliminates.
But on the same spit on 2 prints?
I never had a clogged nozzle once.
true, if the vase itself would warp but that’s not the case.
you are saying that the base didn’t lift off even a little while printing? It looks lifted up now though.
Ohh, same spot is unlikely. Something funny is going on with the gcode. You are on cura or prusa slicer? Try a different slicer to eliminate it being a slicer issue.
it is lifted up, but only because i removed it while the headbed was still on so it deformed.
yes i use cura
I printed this foldable tripod I found online, but I don’t like how it’s thick because the folding legs have to sit on a base and then the screws also add to the thickness. Decided to design my own and came up with this. Needs more work, but good starting point, I think.
Looks like it. I believe by default Cura automatically sets the Z seam to one point, so that you don’t get them in random places like that.
I don’t know about other slicers, but you can try searching for some kind of Z seam alignment setting and set it so that it’s in one place rather than random.
Set Z seam alignment to sharpest corner
Set wall wipe distance to 0.2mm
@Alpacaslapper, that is my dream configuration for all future printers. I ordered a bunch of stuff from bigtreetech 3 months ago and there is no sign of them. Tracking is just stuck at ems china for 2.5 months. I filed claims and got my money back. Poor guys, they are good but covid messed it up for them. Those parts might or might not arrive at this point. It’s a schrodinger package.
Indeed. I pretty much gave up on it and said if it come it comes, wouldn’t be the first time I blew $100 lol. Tracking is pretty useless, last update was pretty much that it was handed over to the airline then darkness for 4 months until it arrived.
I got a pulley stuck on with to much loctite on the motor shaft so I designed a puller and an hour later I had a functioning solution:
Link that stl dude! This is my favorite part about having a 3d printer: Making bespoke random tools and fixtures.
