So i am constantly tinkering my printers to make them have least down time possible(cause printing lots of NESE enclosurs) and i thought i put this here in case someone will be interested. This only applies to direct drive printers(maybe not, can be used on bowden too). I have made a pcb that bolts directly to nema17 extruder motor and has toolless connecors to connect all your extruder components. Same board goes on the other end near mainboard.
This allows for extruder component swap in 2 mins. No more routing and rewrapping your harness. Ribbon cable works as a dragchain and you can reuse existing wiring. Has 3 points to solder LEDS for heater, part and hotend cooling fans to give indication that they work.
The kit will include 2 boards and 70cm of ribbon cable with possibility to arrange custom length. The cost will be arround 25-30eur
