360 fusion help

Hey guys I just finished my first build and it was a nightmare of a learning curve but the board shows it is definitely not pretty so I have already got the itch to do my next board and I’m really wanting to do it right starting with the enclosure. I found some plans I like open source so I’m wondering if anyone has any idea to basically extend this pack to accommodate 12 s or 13 s if it’s possible I’m really just trying to stretch it so maybe I’m over thinking it. Also I ordered the M1-AT Drive + 270mm Adjustable Truck Drivetrain Kit from boardnamics and I’m wondering after ordering what I’m supposed to get for the front truck. Also I ordered a preowened zealot x

Can you link the file/website for the enclosure?
It depends on what kinda file it is and how it was originally created

The kits with the hangers/gear drives/motors are full kits. They come with a front truck as well.

Going to part it out? Or deck swap? or Keep stock?

Sounds like a plan so far

@DerelictRobot had a cool telegram for CAD help but it died

Cant link it, only he can

I used the massive stator raptor 2.1 plans. From the website I just added it to cart and checked out and opened them directly in fusion 360 i am just not very efficient with the program and I was at one point decent with autocad 2k haha aged. I did receive an email from board namics saying it would cover the whole drive system I guess I would be paranoid and thinking I only have one set of wheels on race day type shit.!! I might end up trying to find a class or something in fusion bc since I have got my printer I feel crippled by what I I want to do and what I can do. And I got ideas man I got ideas! :sunglasses:

I am disabled in fusion 360, but in onshape I can do just about anything

I wonder if switching programs to something more similar to what you are used to would help

I will try that. I know at one point I tried sketch up but I’ll have to look around until something clicks. It feels like everything in fusion that I know is center point rectangles, extrude and error messages lol.

I agree, if you have had particular luck with a certain channel I would definitely check into it!!

I haven’t tried a different program but I was running out of my free trial so i switched to my pc and it runs so much smoother than Mac and it also is allowing me to do more basic stuff like moving parts something basic but I couldn’t do on Mac without a huge headache

Oh that is awesome

If you are used to a program I would say stick to it vs switch

I just like onshape for it being cloud based so I can just use a website and get it anywhere

and i’ve found it to work better on a laptop which is what I have
