I used a tiny dab of super glue. Figured it would hold to the POM and break off the metal if I torque too hard. So far it’s worked well through reassembly.

Yeah they do. These drives were designed about 3 years ago now and it was one of the first things I designed in CAD. A few things would be done differently now.
There have been a few instances where bolts have come loose from the POM wheel gears. Really small percentage though.

No official weight but approx approx 190g without bolts.
This batch will be classified as preproduction as there are a few small things that need changing still.

Iknow they are preproduction but four questions!
A) Ever though of making them like the phatlads deepdish, having two sets of screws, one for the geardrive and one for holding the hubs together, for quicker hotswaps.
B) When Can I buy them (the solid torquoise one looks fun as all hell).
C) Will there be higher tooth count coming on the helical motor pulleys
D) Do you have any spacers for the phatlads deepdish yet, my rockstar ones dont fit well with the phatlads ones.

Making 11Ts at the moment both in 8mm and 10mm bore. Testing is going great so soon there will be 12Ts also
I have it for the inner bearing side but on the outer bearing you need to use shims. This wheel is getting more popular now so its probably time to make some proper spacers.

Awesome, looking forward to the 12T helicals, running only 12s and might skip the 18s upgrade if 12T is available, need just a little bit higher top speed than with the 10T offers tho torque is insane right now.
If you make the hubs with hot swap functionality aswell sign me up for a set my Fluxx board is dying for some more higher quality hubs than the rockstars.

I have something better planned for “hot swapping” but the dual mounting system should work with existing setups so I’ll give it a go.

The clamps that were remade fit correctly now. Need to order some bearings and bolts specific to the LC drives and need to print some spacers…
