22x12x7 mm bearings, pre-order.

61900 bearings would work. A little narrower than the standard 608 8mm bore. These have the same 22mm outer diameter but with a 10mm bore.

We are trying to target 12mm axle,10 is kinda solved I guess.

I will point out that any 12mm x 22mm bearing is going to have a low load rating. Probably around half that of 608, so they won’t be that robust

I tried this once.

It was expensive, and I was always worried about wearing through them and having to buy more, so I wouldn’t ride the thing. So I’m back to pneumatic and they sit on a shelf.

I would totally ride it if we could get a set for your proposed amount.

12x22mm is a bad idea for what we do. you realize that each ball is gonna be less than 5 mm right?

yeah that’s the rub. the bearing is expensive and you’re likely going to kill it fast and/or unexpectedly.

Yeah and as i said before I’d recommend going an alternative route as the ball bearings are dangerously small

me personally I’d machine down the axles to 10mm…

I cant answer that but Im assuming youre talking about matrix 2? I do not believe so. MAtrix 2 should be 9.5mm though

Yes but I also have some evolve hubs.

I’ll probably end up using the rockstars for 6” tires as well, just wanted an easy swap lol.
