The GT2B is a remote manufactured by flysky. The original puck and the puck 2 are also made by flysky. The radio in the puck is a beefed up version of what flysky puts in the GT2B.
Just in case someone comes looking for it
Artem may have some – he tossed in a dual trigger on my last build from him.
Interesting, TIL.
Do they run the same/similar protocol? Or just the same hardware radio? (Not that I’d expect them to be compatible, just curious why the puck is more reliable then gt2b)
Not compatible, correct.
I am only repeating info I heard while working at Hoyt so I’m not sure about specifics.
Did Hoyt go out of business? Their website is taken down.
Yes remote question is a tough one. All off the shelf options are compromises.
That’s why I had to design my own opensource remote.
I do believe whoever makes an ELRS remote lineup under $100 will take the entire market. (Radiomaster, Flipsky, JumperRC etc). The market is so tiny no one bothers I guess.
Yes. Mboards took their remaining stock and is selling it on their site.
does anyone know if Mboards will keep the hoyt 2.0 allive with new orders from the manufacturer?
I had been assuming they would? but would be nice to confirm?
I think @Tony_Stark made a deal with JJ but idk the details as I had left Hoyt well before then
