Just binged the whole thread and entries’ worth pf the the 2024 BOTY and wow so much to learn with the possibilities of DIY (love Archangel @Ash, u and she will be missed). Any chance another edition can happen? Lots of sponsors to make ot happen so I’d figure it may be challenging to pull it off again

I think the Dive Bomber thread is a strong contender for top spot atm. So far haven’t seen much build thread this year that look as good/unique.

For me life kinda got in the way but I’ll be back strong for next year! I was hoping to have project endgame completely finished by the end of this year (including new chassis custom double stage gear drives and all new electronics) but it’s looking like it will probably still be an “in progress” build until at least middle of next year… Got some more important stuff to spend money on and finishing the electronics upgrades will be insanely expensive.

Not gonna lie my motivation got reduced once I found out the 80+ hours of CAD work for the raceboard needs to go into the bin and I need to start the design from scratch pretty much, not to mention didn’t even have much free time since then. Not even sure if I’ll get the new chassis done this year but I am hoping I can at least get to that point…

I also have a more reasonable build planned that I was also hoping to finish this year, but I am so behind with the raceboard that I didn’t even start it yet and missing half the parts. :sweat_smile: Tomiboi Hellhound deck with single stack undermount enclosure, Tito Duality trucks, and Radium SR125 wheels. BN AT drives with custom adapter, 20S3/4P eve 50PL, D100S, reacher 85s. Considering bringing it forward in the queue just because the raceboard progress has been so damn slow.

I have a build coming up. Prob not BOTY worthy since it’s a pretty typical build, but it’s gonna be my first bottom enclosure build.

What about an honorary position for our favourite prebuilt? Like the Linnpower Evo for being great value or the amazing work gone into Revskateboard Phantom X

Maybe there can be a cumulative award this year.
And if you combine my 10 crappy new builds I have something worthy!!! Lol

But I am quite proud of the 44 and the MAD LAC…
