that was an incredible race. @esk8.speedster and @Ruxx making mad wheels and meepo go power train look so freaking fast. (Zhang on the “MeepoDachii” in intro2speed livery 
)

getting second in that final race was a major accomplishment for me. 
it was still a lot of luck, but I learned a bunch of things along the way, ( to help overcome my handicap of being the heaviest. )

Esk8 and Esk8 Spec racing
Happening tomorrow, at AVS.
Gates open at 8am
We had 10 esk8 racers for AVS.
Format went:
Heat 1, Lined everyone up and did a 2 lap run.
Heat 2, Took the lap time splits and staggerd the start depending on lapntime splits ffrom heat 1. Slowest racer leaving first and following with each racer with their corridponding lap time gap.
MAIN. Average lap time gap for each racer from heat 1 an 2 and ran the Main format same as Heat 2.
While this format leaves a big opportunity for sandbagging in the heats, it made for a bracket style race.
With digital scoring this could be an interesting way to have last lap racing will different skill levels competing for podium.

At the Tef1 race yesterday. 13 racers came from far as Virgina and Italy to run the arrive and Race Spec Format.
EUC racers included Zach and Que.
12 Spec Boards were made available from SRB, Allen Powell, Ray Belden, Ralph Ayala, Vince Ramirez, Ariel Biggs, and Ron Gallanato.
The roster was split into 3 heats with the top 2 of each heat locked into the main. The remaining 7 riders ran a 1 lap Last Chance Qualifier for the remaining 6 main event spots.
The main event was 4 laps with 12 riders. The whole show was completed within 45 minutes’ time.
Wanted to say thanks to Brian at MadEsk8 and Brad at Riptide Sports. With your friendship and support, this entry-level format got a big push forward. This gives me a renewed hope that esk8 racing has a big future in front of us. Thanks guys.
