Special Mention; Heath Lewis from Denver Colorado Made the trip. Very impressive with his LaCroix Lone star. Was running 2nd at one point but faded to fourth at the top 3rd of the hill.
SRB boards were set at 80%. Torgo barrteris were charged at 90% and all the team boards @ 75% with mine at 50%. It was interesting how rider weight and charge level attributed performance differences as we spent a lot of time with the throttle pinned at 40+mph. Factoring rider weight and giving a couple %points bump to heavier riders is a future possibly. Will need to find the ratio. Should be easy enough to tighten the field. Will be experimenting with this at Mary-Hill next week

Pretty surprised Heath faded seeing as he had almost 10mph on everyone. Shows skill is a big part of racing.

The limiting of the power also brings the tuck more into play. Not necessarily a good thing but could be.

I’m positive the naz thermal throttled it’s ESC. you can see in ryan’s view he has no speed left for a long ways.

Wow that’s ballsy riding without eye protection, my eyes would seriously water at that speed
In addition, pretty crazy that you can do those speeds on a lacroix with hypertrucks, he must have some hard bushings in there or have some crazy leg control

damn what caused Mario’s crash?
Haven’t dug into it yet. I suspect frayed strands inside the old motor
Update;
We found the culprit. I was shaking down the board Mario was on at the Bak0 race. Pulled motors and ok, checking connectors & busswork and ok. Went for a ride with Brad in Oregon and found one motor intermittently dropping out. If I moved the transmitter close to the deck it was Ok. Well, one of the two receivers was missing an antenna. Apparently broke off some how.
Dam $2.00 part.
Board ran great for us at Maryhill.
