200x75 Phatty tires

Yeah the first time, now I’m just going to have to order from someone else haha

I think sites that sell parts for scooter is good. Partsforscooters seem to have pretty good price compares to others, $7.50 vs + $11.

I thought I read somewhere that 200*50 is fine for these tires… no?

Not from what I read, could be wrong. Would actually prefer to be wrong, as I have two sets of 200x50 haha.

At least some people run them that way without issues. Probably fine I think.

Interesting, maybe I’ll try them. Thanks!

I run 200x50 tubes in mine for years.

bro gonna have 1km range

What are the current options to run these tires. I know of Newbee, trampa deep dish, land-surf, (possibly) BN gt3, and a bunch of discontinued ones.

Technically you can run them on basically any of the rims we usually use, even MBS hubs. Just a matter of how flat the profile stays and how much pressure you’re putting on the sidewalls.

This is how flat they were when inflated on my BN GT3 hubs, which are 49mm tire seat width if I remember right. I had them at around 35psi, some people run them lower which would help flatten the profile.

Personally, I had a hard time enjoying the set that I bought. I had to do a lot to get them balanced, and even then I felt like I couldn’t get them rolling nearly as smoothly as Kendas, CST, etc. Plus, the added weight and width felt like it really affected my agility.

Yeah these tires are nasty. I ran them for well over a year, and liked other tires like the cst Artem sells better

+1 for the SKP CST, that’s what I’m running nowadays.

Yeah understandable. Just really like that flat profile look. Y’all have any pics of the cst 8 actually in a board?

I’m pretty sure i tried the 200x75 on a set of xcell hubs without issues, they’ll definitely work on the new MBS pro XL line, i think on a budget the hubba hubs should fit them okay too. For other flat profile tires, i think acedeck is selling a 180mm that isn’t extra wide width but is flat profile. Land surf of course has the 165x62 racing tires which are finally restocked with the second batch. BKB has the 6 inch ones. Meepo has their racing tires or whatever.

Yeah ive seen those. I was really looking for a 8 inch set (doesnt have to be wide). Might take a look at the acedeck ones but really i need a tad bigger for clearance reasons

Are you just after a nice aesthetic?

Those 180mm Acedeck Nomad tires look pretty sweet.

Woops, just saw you mentioned you need 8 inches. Yeah, not many other options for flat profiles that big that I’m aware of…
