200a smart BMS - ANT

There is an app for ios that allows you to config it way more than on android @RyEnd

For charge only @15A, this is probably fine?

Trying to stay within a budget for my first li-ion pack (12s6p) / moving away from LiPo.
Will be using Nese, as I would love the ability to just replace cells easily at some point in time.

Anybody know where to get some more of the balance leads that plug into the white headers? Are they hx254???
They have a little clip on one end that goes into the housing need at least 16 lost some
Thx.

I tried this but it wouldn’t connect
Android would

I use and just for balance my charge is small 5 amps but discharge is 400+amps
But don’t use any of the wires in and out except balance leads

@stratoglide Can you specify that the over-voltage-charging-protection should kick in at 4.1v/ cell? in the app?

nope OV protection should be at 4.2-4.25 for a standard battery per cell 4.25 gives you some headroom to balance back down and “sag” to 4.2.

As well as giving you a bit of extra headroom for braking with a full battery if you’re running a discharge BMS.

Hey guys, i need some help. I just had a 20s battery built with a 300a ant bms. Everything works fine, but the bms is shutting down at 68v instead of allowing a full discharge. I have the mayi app and can see the pgroups and voltages, but i cannot change the lvc. Anyone have any ideas or a better app that will allow me to change settings on the bms? Will vbms work?

VBMS seems to be the more reliable app IMO but there’s many versions of the Mayi app and it seems documentation of what app version goes with what hw version is pretty much non-existent.

So either try to find a different version of the mayi app or use vbms, and perhaps try a different phone if handy to just rule out general android weirdness.

I guess I’ll pay for vbms and give it a try

I got a link to the actual ANT BMS app and can change parameters now!

Is there any way you can tell me what one of these values means? Remain Ah…

I have a 38ah pack , that Remain Ah value is set to 10Ah and I’m having trouble discharging the pack much below 40% before the bms trips out.

I’m trying to find a reason for this, my Pgroups are pretty close and the pack is only a couple months old.

Woaw cool I haven’t seen that app before if Thats android. Mind sharing?

Hmmm as far as I know those values don’t impact the on/off functionality of the bms as I haven’t had issues with that. They mostly exist for accurate capacity tracking of the battery as far as I know … What voltage is this occurring at? Always the same? I know someone who had a bad balance lead connection that was causing weirdness in the pack turning off and on randomly, but this also doesn’t sound like that…

Here is how to get the app and the permissions.
I had a bunch of settings that were wrong on my bms, I’m pretty sure i have it figured out now. Thanks man

How exactly do you input the passwords? I can type a password in, but I can’t really click on anything other than the administrator-author button, and that only seems to crash the app. None of the other buttons work and the passwords don’t save if I leave the page

Also idk if it’s supposed to show up like this when I first connect, but it looks like the BMS reads nothing…
