12s6p 30Q proto batt for sale - $400+shipping OBO

As title states.

Pack has seen some use I’ve run it for the last twoish years. Which is why it’s not a lot more expensive. $400+shipping OBO

I was getting 15-20 miles of range out of her at time of taking off the board, with 7” tires.

Charges to 50.6, you can charge at 8A with leads/balance wires used for pack.

How many charge cycles do you think it’s had in its 2 year lifetime? Seems pretty pricy. 72 brand new p26A cells are about 308.00 from IMR right now.

Brand new 30Q’s are just around $450 shipped for cells alone. Not saying a 30Q is better than a p26A. Price is OBO - so I’m open to offers!

I would say its probably got about 70 charge cycles. Not really sure I’ve always had any where from 3 to 8 boards while I’ve had this pack so it wasn’t seeing use everyday. It was used a bit tho.

this is one of the hyperion packs that actually got built/delivered. I’ll be honest I’m not a batt wizard so I’m not sure, haven’t had any probs with it.

AGAIN OBO guys shoot me a lowball and see what happens!

@BenjaminF

That’s pretty nitpicky honestly, they’re fine.

It’s very annoying / hard to get them to all lay perfectly flat. It’s not like the enclosure would have been mounted without a foam gasket anyways.

correct sir - there is a nice foam piece on my deck to cushion these bois

yeah your prob right
just on the battery builders thread i see many people commenting about that sort of thing

What’s the length and the width will it fit a DS evo or DS century

I’ll get back to you once work slows down for the day - initial gut reaction is that its too wide

Really depends on how much pressure is on them. If there is a lot of pressure pushing the individual wires into each other, then enough vibration may eventually cause them to wear through their insulation and short. How likely is this on this particular pack? I have no idea and cant really speculate.

A lot depends on the installation as well. If I were installing this battery, I would make sure nothing is pushing down on those wires, make sure those those zip-ties are not too tight, and put something in between the p-groups so there is no chance of something wearing through the heat shrink.

That’s just my take on this type of pack construction, not any kind of condemnation of this pack in particular. Brent says he has been using this with no problems, and it shows no signs of this type of wear, so I’ll defer to him.

@Nacho

Roughly 9” x 2.7” per cell group so if you were to redo the wires and make the groups closer could be roughly 9” x 17”

Probably gonna need to redo the leads so p groups are tight together to get the most out of space.
