A little update, i manage to make my own double thread bolt axle for this surfrodz trucks and turns out it fit perfectly, i don’t need to loctite them or even using the thread insert.

Bruh I am so confused. That looks dope. How did you make it? Did you start with hex stock and then turn it down on a lathe, using dies for the threads? That’s the only way I can think of making it.

Yes hex stainless bar d14mm, and yes for the process.

Ah nice, that is pretty cool.

Kinda annoying to remove axles every time i need to adjust something there and worrying that one time i will destroy the thread hanger. that’s why i made this.

Yeah I just got some boarnamics precision hangers and the only thing I worry about is the shoulder bolts somehow messing up the internal threading haha

Haha thats why

Thinking about selling a pair of those sexy bolts?

Maybe later, if i made this for sale what axle length everyone prefer not include the lock thread (just wondering) mine base on 80mm surfrodz shoulder bolt so about 50-53mm useable axle and still using 10mm diameter.

Dammit I wish I had a lathe, this is a great idea! I would def grab a set from you if you do sell them

i think 95mm axel would be a good middle ground.

How much usable axle needed to use with pneumatic/AT with pulley (for my reference). Coz for urethene wheels 50-53mm is more than enough.

Please make 110mm for extra wide SR TKP. I would like to buy some from you

This. Go 53mm make it threaded longer for more play. I would buy the living shit outta those. Also have some Boardnamics hangers that this would be the perfect solution for.

Beauty build BTW LOL.

Seriously tho, do a group buy! I’d do a set for sure!!

Boardinamics using 8mm hanger i think so the inside thread maybe M6 i dunno. I made this for 10mm surfrodz.

If you could reduce it down to 8mm for the wheel side that would be sick. Wayyy better bearing options

Ya i can do that

I would be interested in a set of these also, either 8 or 10mm is fine with me. Especially if they are long enough to run both neumatics or urethane. I swap between the two often, well I did till the shoulder bolt on one of my SR’s locked up and I haven’t taken the time to get it out. This would solve so many problems!!

I’ll make a thread about the axle if it’s goin for production

Honestly i feel more comfortable using 10mm axle for longer axle, specially with pneumatics.
