Back to OP and manners comment. You are probably right about the source. But a name and place doesn’t matter.
Lacroix does business and business men will do as business people will bc money is money and business is business.
However, if your product could be described as ‘boutique’, dare I say ‘cult’, and as a founding Crew, you are not dickheads or cut throat, then craftsmen (not business people) will make you things they would not chose to do for even their own boss.
This nuance doesn’t happen in a Shenzhen minute. This isn’t an argument about quality, Shenzhen makes the best and worst our consumer tech.
What I’m really trying to say is; if your friend wants make a sick board, come to our events. Work on your “bonjour, hello” which is the ultimate accommodating greeting for all speakers (limited case obvi), but also let’s you know what their history is.

Lol. Yep, needed to be lower on that turn. That was probably 500 turns into the 640 turn 22 mile trip. Smokey’s everywhere too. June in the south and so hot that I remember it. I’ll have to see if I can find any of my track day photos for redemption in another thread.
