@rafaelinmissouri The wind was down today so I got the Neo out for a little flight while the wife and kids were out.. im not supposed to be riding for a few weeks yet but was too good an opportunity to miss today.

Yeah.. totally my bad, all the right hallmarks were there, late night, speed and a different line that was super unfriendlyā¦ 3 Fractured ribs (L4, 5 and 6) and a fractured L1 disc.. and worst of all, I didnt (?) have my chinstrap done up and the impact knocked the helmet off my head and 10m down the road, it was nasty as fuck and Iām a lucky lad to be alive to be honestā¦ that was a few weeks ago now and Iām almost good to rideā¦ only super slow though, cant really take a knock again for a bit.. probably have to use the E-Bike for a few weeks

That model doesnāt have the obstacle avoidance but it did a pretty good job, you can kind of steer it with your horizontal travel too so it works (YMMV). I probably didnt go too much over 30km/h at any point and there was little to no wind today as well so that helped.. I think an average of about 25 in follow me mode was pretty good. I only used it in āCloseāā mode and not Medium or Far modes either today.
Overall, its pretty damn good for the price and a good entry point, the video quality is pretty good too. for under $700 aud I can get a āFlyā pack with a headset and controller and itāll have a 10km range and will do 50km/h, Battery life was decent but they take ages to charge so if looking for one definitely look towards the expanded sets that have 3 batteries and a hub charger you can use on the move.

Itād be a fun toy but i canāt justify it.. i had a Mavic many moons ago and while it was fun, i barely used it, and i didnāt really NEED it.
Seems like good value though, have fun with it and donāt stack anymore!!!

Did you ride home or did you have to get picked up?

took me a few minutes to collect myself.. but rode the rest of the way home
