I’m not using the bluetooth to control the board, although I did try that briefly. The remote and the dashboard are more or less separate. I have a single 18650 battery powering them both, but the bluetooth only talks to the ESP32 in the dashboard. I still use the 2.4GHz controller, and it’s been rock steady.
Why did you decide to ditch bluetooth for controlling the board?
It was more of an experiment when I did use bluetooth to control the board. At the time I wanted to add reverse, and it was easier to do with bluetooth. Now we can do it with the regular firmware.
That said, I did feel a bit of latency with bluetooth control if I recall correctly. And it’s definitely less robust than the 2.4GHz link.
