It’s a strange thing watching the trend towards larger and heavier vehicles mix in with increasing congestion, emissions and the like, but at the same time light evs (bikes scooters and skateboards specifically) are seen as increasingly dangerous to the “community”
I understand its due to the perception of them as toys as well as a potentially a lack of accountabillity amongst various other things but bugger me it shits me. Cars have a place, but is sure as shit isnt sitting in a 5 seater truck (large ute, 4x4) with one person on a commute.
Give me a numberplate to wear. Ill pay rego.
Trucks move goods around pretty damn well, for last mile from rail/sea. Cant see a better solution for the time being and thats fine. The car and the push for larger and heavier cars is the most absurd bullshit given the issues they present.
