time to stop f*king around

Where is the point of delaying the deceleration by 2 seconds if you get there anyway after the delay?

If i want to decelerate i want it NOW, not 2 seconds later.

it doesnt delay it, it slowly goes into it by only cutting a bit of power at a time, so that you dont feel a sudden jerk when you let go

its quite obvious really i dont know how you guys have not connected the dots

you know that this doesn’t make sense?

Why is the lingyi known as the jerky bastard? Because its the only know (i know of) that does it. Wowgo has a smooth transition without delay , vesc has a smooth transition.

Lingyi doesn’t even have a smooth acceleration in pro mode. It jerks all the way. Vesc/HW do like 0.5/1% jumps for Maximum smoothness and lingyi does 5/10%. It jolts.

why am i even wasting time here lol. Bye

man at the end of the day its just another extra lyingi feature like push to start, is it useless? you already have momentul pushing you forward, so maybe it is indeed useless, but like i said at the end of the day its just another feature for that esc, take it for what you will some people will like it others wont, and you can always bypass it by tapping the brakes if you dont need it or just dont use that esc
i dont see why you market it as a safety hazard when in real life scenarios it will only help and can always be bypassed if necessary

but its definettely not delay from the remote like you said

To be faaaaair, I feel like everyone could stand to learn a bit more about water-proofing.

I rest my case, your honor.

By that logic is the Note 7 randomly exploding a extra feature or user error?

if you read the previous replies you would see how it can be a good feature, but not necessary on 90mm wheels, its more for stuff like 9 inch pneumatics which cause massive drag the second you stop accelerating

tactical features obviously

I’d say that if no other esc does it than its probably not a good feature. Furthermore the whole point of the remote its to control, the fuck is the point of it controlling if the esc is just gonna ignore what you’re telling it to do.

A good feature should be able to be switched on and off. If this so called “feature” is useless 99% of the time, then the esc shouldn’t force you to use it 100% of the time. Thats what makes vesc so great. The ability to adjust every parameter is important for both performance and safety reasons.

the esc is not programmable wtf do you expect, and its not useless the difference is just unoticeable on tiny wheels

really it just attempts to prevent a jerky movement for a split of a second its not like it freaking takes over and drives for you

I swear to god this thread is like a fucking kindergarden.

Really bringing out the worst in a lot of folks.

Let the kid build what he wants to build. If his attitude stinks, don’t let yours stink worse.

Damn, we’re at almost 300 posts of “not fucking around”. Young buck is resilient for sure. Probably worthy of a title if we get to 500 posts of not fucking around

man tbh im not forcing anyone to buy it, i just explained why the esc does that

It’s too late; I already bought another one

I mean it’s clear that he doesn’t care what other people think about his beloved ESC so probably not worth arguing anymore

This thread is special though, don’t think we’ve ever had something like this before
