Nice!

Some wheelie attempts. Gotta practice.

Reprinted the bottom part with TPU. Now the whole thing diffuses light so nicely. I should get an RGB strip, inspired by @Pecos

Advice I’ve been given is to try and find an incline to practice the manuals, on the flat you have to keep speeding up but on an incline you can hold the speed. Watching Dylan do these on a Mach 1 is just silly, I still just shake my head at his level of control.

Oh, I’ve seen Dylan, crazy how he does wheelies on grass on VESC.

Added LED channel into the base.
For now running directly of 5v on FSESC 6.7. It’s supposed to have 5v 1.5a output, more than enough. Though in the future I’d want to isolate the strip from vesc with it’s own supply for electrical safety.

That looks really awesome. I think the 1.5A also includes the current draw of the controller itself, and is not the sum total of excess current available. But I could be wrong. I know on older models that was the case.

I love this thing so much!!! I really hope you enjoy your adventures on it.

That’s very sneaky on flipsky part.
At full brightness the strip consumes 850ma, I’m running it at half power. I guess that was a good call.
With it’s own supply it will be blinding.

Thanks man!

This is legit one of, if not the, coolest build recently in my opinion. Awesome to see more shortboards. I bet this is a blast to ride.

Do you have a high-res photo of the ESC showing the part numbers on it?

I don’t have my own photos.
Here’s photo from flipsky:

And thanks!
Yea, I wanna see more crazy shortboards.
What are you riding nowadays btw. What’s up with the 3WD build?

Riding mostly the same boards, repairing when they break. The 3WD board suffered a battery problem related to the BMS :sad_but_relieved_face:
