You’re right it’s a little annoying and ugly without an enclosure underneath going the full length, I was able to just drill another hole and put in a cable gland front middle. At least the wires can be quite thin you can use some of these FPV motor wire protectors if it helps.
You could also use another small battery upfront but make sure it does not die without warning you might have seen a video of that happening to me.
