Oh yeah. I always do when I pick up the Dremel.
Gotta be careful. No one wants a shaft that is too short…
Dude, how do you get your stuff so fast during a pandemic. We can’t receive any parcels since almost 20days.
Great looking build.
I understand your title now .
Royal mail is suffering so hard here
This shipment from electric board solutions was one of the most remarkably fast deliveries I ever had. It was UPS
Some things have slowed down by a few days. But it is still moving well. The tires came FedEx from Florida. Took a couple days.
Amazon is no longer next day and some items take a week.
The Kaly enclosure is due tomorrow with USPS and I keep checking status and it looks to be moving slowly… We will see.
Bro. Don’t cut the shaft on the motor Just move your mounts closer to the wheel
Easy fix
Well at least we don’t have to wait to see your progress.
The motor Shaft will hit the tires is the issue. It is like stupid long…
Ah. Ok then yes.
I don’t like to mutilate stuff unles it’s really necessary
From the pictures it looks within reason, its not like there’s 50mm between the motor face and the load on the pulley
Does the shaft come out the other side of the pulley? It looks flush or inset still
listen you fucking noobs. his shaft will hit the tire if he brings the motor closer.
I keep wanting not to do it. But then revert to wanting to do it.
Really given all the mechanical forces around the drive the few mm is not a bit deal.
But technically closer will be structurally better and it will look better.
Relax homie. Not everyone here has been building for years and years.
We all have to start somewhere right
Can you get a closer image of the setup?
I hope it was clear I was exaggerating for effect.
Lmao. You did good
poor soul got the same advice from 3 people in a row. LMAO
Shave the tyre down to 7 inches
