The Badonkadonk Build: Custom, Integrated AT deck | MBS Matrix II Moon-drives | 9er inch wheels | Flipsky 63100s 140 kv | 12s4p P42A | Stormcore 60D | Modified Puck|

Yes. I haven’t tried a new grease yet on them.

I’d like to try the grease that I am using on the Moon-drives on the 3Ds set-up, but the 3Ds grease is supposed to be a special formulation for their drive-system. Their set-up has both an aluminum and nylon gear. I imagine that might need special grease.

The grease supplied with the 3Ds drive is kind of like aloe vera. The stuff I’m using on the Moon-drives is thick and waxy. It doesn’t seem like it would bleed as easily.

I love your innovative cooling mechanism!

Please update us on how it works :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks! It’s cold here, so I haven’t needed yet, but when it get’s warm I’ll do some experiments to see if it’s effective.

Hey dudes.

have you put man miles on these Flipsky 63100 motors?

what do you think of them so far?

Not OP, but I have Flipsky 63100’s (battle hardened from factory) on belt drive with 250 Miles and no issues so far. I ride 30% on grass and off road trails.

Great motors so far, I hope to ride them until I Grind the bearings to dust.

Thanks dude.

I appreciate the feedback.

i am looking to buy them, but wanting to get real live feedback.

I don’t ride these that much at the moment but they have served me well even though they aren’t battle hardened. I’m using the battle-hardened motors on my current build.

Flipsky’s battle-hardened motors have worked well for me in general.

63100?

I have 2 pairs of bh 6374s and they also seem really nice… have not put many miles on them…

Yeah, 63100s 190kv.
