Sorry to hear that. That does suck, but also in Ben Bucklers defence they are mostly a domestic business selling to locals and our new parts ship directly from China as we accept that China is the manufacturing hub of the world and logistically far better for shipping compared to Australia where sometimes we’d have orders take up to 2 months to EU with standard Australia post.

Also our orders sometimes take 7 days to ship too with Ant making the 2hr round trip to Aus HQ once a week while William and I are in China building the Mach One. But I still consider Radium a hobby business until we’ve delivered the first 100 Mach Ones so maybe not a fair comparison.

The peeps at Ben Buckler have come through , and the delayed/lack of responsiveness also had to do with bad internet connection so they said.
The foremost prob here was FEDeX , they failed to do a pickup so the parcel was just laying around for more than a week
When reading up on Fedex Sydney/Aus (reviews) they come out pretty TERRIBLE ; loads of reviews saying way more worse situations than mine… so maybe i dodged the bullet. A week delay, well ok. I just need them mounts damnit ! I believe they will arrive on my doorstep this friday

Ben Buckler at the end saying how embaressed they were and offered to cancel the order, all very good of them. So i kind of take back what i said about them yep. They could however have noticed my parcel just laying around there for over a week and acted accordingly, which only happened after my many many inquiries…

You’re very right yeah about the China shipping out to Europe being a lot quicker. I was super surprised sometimes with Ali-express , low shipping costs and often very very quick. And ofcourse your wheels… took me completely by surprise with that 1 week delivery!

Mounted the goods this evening. These taper lock mounts are a great idea. The grubscrew motormounts i find are always a pain because just when you thought everything was aligned, when tightening it up you would almost always get “off” or things would tilt a bit. Pain in the ass.

With these mounts the fit was super precise on the MBS 3 trucks , and then when adjusting and tightening things actually stay in place exactly the way you want. SUper stoked, great bit of kit. Let’s see how they hold up when summer comes😎!
