Redundancy, I have a fear of smaller bullets that spin. (The male ones)
Generally the smaller ones are this weird spring like mechanism that spin and I’ve been told that they can cause cutouts as they aren’t ideal when pushing hard.
Also If and so I ever let someone ride my board I don’t want any chance of cutout happening.
The reachers I put on already have xt150s on em so I figure just also create a standard across my boards and go xt150s
I understand where you’re getting at but I hope you understand also that their exists for a mm bullets that don’t have this spring cage design. They have the same design as the xt150 but as a 4 mm bullet. Hope that helps.
I had to use washers to create space to run 6485s. Works but kinda gross. I did start a design alonggg time ago to just have the motor plates have a bit of offset
I loctited all of the wheel nuts but it makes me uneasy, still it’s a game I have to play.
Lastly.
If my plans don’t go through with my flux which are liquid rn I could end up using B1-AT on these metroboard x trucks. But that ought to be a hackjob & quite tricky with a nesscary clever design needs to be conjured to couple them in a reliable way.
