Inline with the incoming power so I don’t get a giant inrush current. Easy as putting smaller resistors in there.
3 Farads is plenty of time for the processor to update the display and shutdown cleanly. Maybe 3 times more than it needs.
The only time it’s a problem is during testing or when I’m working on it - on rides it works fine. So not really a priority.
