Suggest me some evolve style trucks!

Recently I changed my DKP bushings to Riptide 90A and 87A, and they weren’t stable enough for me (this board goes 33mph)!
With the stock bushings it’s okay, but this new board will go around 36, I’m seriously considering RKPs now.

I’m wondering if anyone knows if these mboard fixed reverse mount trucks with an evolve style board? Does that mean the motors point out back from the board? Does this cause wheelbite with street or AT wheels?

(they don’t stick out the back)

If you do want the kind that stick out the back this is what I went with:

More expensive but also better quality. Also I’ve heard mixed reviews of MBoards but Boardnamics is good people.

+1 for @Boardnamics . I’ve been abusing a set of his 270 RKP hangers and adjustable baseplates for over 3 years, I did a year and a half on his idler belt drive mounts and now 2.5 years on his gear drives. Super well made stuff and hella longevity. Very minimal slop for an RKP too. And it works with any caliber 2/3 baseplate out there which includes most clone trucks.

Update: just took these trucks and BNM1 drives 20km down a mountain in the Canadian Rockies. held up beautifully. was a blast.

It looks to me like these don’t have the stepped 10mm axel for the pulley bearings, is that correct? It’s just an extended 8mm axel?

yes. BN also has hangers with 10mm axles and 10-8 stepped axles (surfrodz axles)

for evolve pulleys, it’s very easy to just pop out the 6900-2RS bearings and put in some (better) 608-2RS skateboard bearings. then the 8mm axles won’t pose any problems (as long as you have things aligned properly)

I see thanks, and the length of the stock axel works for evolve pulleys as well, after the new bearing?

yes I’ve done exactly the process I described with evolve pulleys, BN220 trucks and Bn Idler motor mounts on my first esk8.

Do I need a different hanger for the front wheels?

no but you will need some long spacers to take up the space where the drivetrain would be. you could also use a different truck it’s yup to you.
