The spintend has more features and handles higher voltage. The maker-x might have better thermals, but that can easily be negated w/ higher voltage/lower amps or a heat sink for the spintend.

I know the spinted isnât super tested yet, but do you know how the included remote stacks up against other popular option in terms of reliability?

Idk, electronics are reliable until they arenât. Sometimes they slip through QA, often user error is involved, rarely something anomalous happens, and sometimes rarer still, bad software is involved. If none of those things are true, I havenât found a remote that doesnât fit the bill.
