SKP Solo ESC compact HV controller [SERIOUS] SALE! code “AMPS”

Ahh I see. In that case yeah not sure what happened there. The high load erpm tests still need to happen

If you can vet the solos to handle high rpm at load, im gonna have to consider them a whoole lot haha. With my board out of commission i gotta do something to get it back up anyways. Its either that or i trade my 7490’s for someones 6485’s maybe to not deal with the high pole count issue?

Also, on a side note - do the solo’s have any potential to control external devices, IE a headlight or brake light signal output? I’m using my board for my college mechanical engineering capstone project(which is going to suck now that fixing the board has to happen LOL) and an ESC with controllable auxiliary power output makes my life significantly easier.

and yep, 13S, was at about 52V out of the battery nearing top end from the sound. Spintend 75V model, set pretty conservatively at something like 90 motor amps and 40-50 battery amps.

I am interested in the high rpm load tests as well. Currently I’m slated to use a 100V 200A V2 for my next build, but if your tests prove to be successful, then I may reconsider.

The machinist we hired to build it is in Cancun and not replying to my texts

So at least another week or so out haha
It’s mostly done. When you see it you’ll see why it took so long

Thank you! More info on metr coming end of this week and early next. We are just doing a bit more testing and ironing out any bugs :fire::fire::zap:

So far we only found one very minor bug and it got fixed in minutes.

Heyo, have you posted a weight for the ESC with the heatsinks anywhere? I couldn’t find it but might have missed something obvious

No not yet, il do that sometime today tho

Is the dyno just a motor dyno, or dyno like cars where you strap the board down onto so that you can also run loaded runs?

Looks like I am likely about 3-4 days away from shipping most outstanding Solo orders, and maybe a total of 14 days from shipping all of them.

If you purchased a Solo and would like me to add Metr to your solo you can buy the add on here

For now the process will be that this will need to be purchased with Solo at the time of purchase, I have to load custom FW for the BT module to unlock this feature before I mail it, it will come with a pairing code. the code will be random unless you have one you prefer to use, you can email me your personalized code when you purchase the add on and I will set it to that 6 digit code.

Side note since a solo dual is 2 singles mounted to the same heatsink, basically one of them will have metr, the other will have a regular BT module. You can use both or either for whatever. And if for some reason you want both to have metr purchase 2 metr add one and I will send 2 separate pairing codes
