Show Me Your Heat-Sink'd Enclosures

How do people usually secure their heatsink’d ESC to the hole in the enclosure? JB weld or something? The InfinitySink I have doesn’t seem to make it very easy

I used a silicon mastic sealant to glue in on the infinity sinks I used.

You are meant to use The four mounting holes on the corners, but glued in does look super clean.

Tada! This build is finally getting close. Then I decided to put in a huge heat sink:

Can I ask, why?

No, no questions! Only heat sink!

Seriously though I don’t have any good reason I just think it looks nice. I got it for $12 or something close and it’s getting a ubox which have thermal problems? Fets don’t like heat? It was in my hands? It is literally as big as can be installed without doing anything crazy (crazier?)

Does this count? It’s just an off the shelf aluminium box.
Cheap, simple and durable. Also the perfect size (not too big to get caught on anything) for dual escs on eMTB.
This is the 3rd MTB I’m using this Hammond 1590XX box for and they have been great.

Absolutely! All options are welcome and can only benefit the cooling. Are they thermal pasted on or taped or just screwed to the lid?

Screwed on with a generous amount of thermal paste in between
