Looks like a cammed arm that loosens/tightens a platform for a camera? The power wire to the camera has the XT connector we see?

Or is something within that structure being pointed out the front?

Here is my shitty diy. It my budget Franken meepo. I spent like $450 on parts (yes everything in the pic’s cost $450 including the remote and charger not in the picture, even the battery included). The majority of those parts r for a build I’m hopefully finishing later this month. I just threw them together to have a board to ride in the meantime. I’ll put build threads up when I get all the parts for my 2nd build.

Had to open the heatshrink up once to check on the bms I blew the charge connector because of a shitty barrel jack that came with the pack. After that I run the pack fused just to avoid further issues with it.

Already did, was the biggest pain in the ass to figure out, but its all good now. I didnt build the pack and figured it was already fused, u til i dmed i found out the hardway. Had to check the bms to see if still worked, luckily it did and i just needed to change out the charge port.
