I have had bad luck with Hobbyking also.
I know this probably isnt the answer you want to hear, but I would highly recommend going with a reputable brand when buying lipos.
About twice a year, Tattu has a really good sale on large lipos.

My hobbywing cells have been pretty much perfect

I think it depends on which brand you get there

But you can buy a low resolution, faded version of Tattu on AliExpress :rofl:

I actually tried that once about 10 months ago!
Got a message that they had entered in the wrong amount for the price and wanted more money.
I love aliexpress, just not for batteries.

Wow, they don’t have very large 6S batteries, but the SMC 9.7Ah has an incredible energy density rivaling a P42A pack but with a better discharge curve
